A particle of mass m is projected with velocity v making of an angle of 45 degree with the horizontal. when the particle lands on the level ground, then what is the magnitude of the change in its momentum?

AIPMT / Neet 2008  , Topic : Kinematics

change in magnitude of momentum involves vector subtraction of initial and final momentum but first

if you resolve in  components along horizontal and vertical then calculation will be easier second making diagram of problem will reduce unnecessary steps of calculation.
