Q. A stone is dropped from
a height h.
It hits the ground with a
certain momentum p. If the same stone is
dropped from a height
100 % more than the previous height, the momentum when it
hits the ground will change by
aipmt neet 2012 nlm & frict q 1 change in momentum in 1-D is subtraction of two vectors in
opposite direction in this case. Linear momentum depends on velocity and velocity depends on
height from which , it is falling so ultimately momentum will get change with the change in height
of fall. According to given options , we have to calculate percentage change in momentum.
