Q. A ball of mass 2 kg and another of mass 4 kg are dropped together from a 60 feet tall building. After a fall of 30 feet each towards earth, their respective kinetic energies will be in the ratio of
Description : Aipmt/Neet 2004 | W.P.E Q 1 |

This problem is a clear mix of motion under gravity i.e kinematics and WPE. First we need to apply formula of velocity after falling through height h then we can find ratio of K.E. Since formula of velocity is independent of mass  and both are falling through same height so ratio of kinetic energy will only be the ratio of their masses only
